		<description>it is called duplex. all the headset mics transmit on one frequency. there is a basestation unit that receives the mics and then re-transmits on an offset frequency. all the headsets listen on the offset frequency. that way all parties can talk and listen at the same time. it is low power, so don&#039;t expect to pick them up on your scanner at home.</description>
