While sitting in Bojangles I saw that all the employees wore headsets so they could hear the drive through and talk to each other and I was wondering: what exactly are those? Are they a short range two way radio? Or something else? Thanks!

Short range open radio. in two way you have to stop sending to receive, in this case everyone can talk without pushing buttons, think of it a a telephone over short-range radio.

Would a County Fair most likely use VHF or UHF radios? I am on the fair board and need to get a radio and i cant contact anyone so witch one would it most likely be? (This probably doesnt help) but they are black and say “Rapid Radio” on them i think we use Channels 1-9 or something! please help witch one do you think it is!
